Proprietors 

For Parents:

OMS was founded and is owned by Judith Walker and Daniel Ardizzone.

The Proprietors are passionate about the school and visit the school within their subject responsibilities role. The Proprietors and the Principal meet often, usually weekly.

The Proprietors provide oversight, critical evaluation and strategic direction for the Principal/Head Teacher and the senior leadership team of the school. It is also the body that makes senior staff appointments and to whom the Principal/Head Teacher reports. It is not, however, an executive body involved in the day-to-day running of the school. 

If you have a serious concern about the school or your child that you feel has not been resolved by using the correct channel of communication, i.e, discussion with the relevant staff member or subsequently by discussion with the Headteacher or the school Independent listener it would be appropriate to contact the Proprietors. They can be contacted via the school office.  Details about the reason for this request need not be disclosed to the school office. Proprietors and Principal meet at least termly to discuss all issues relating to the running of the school, the performance of its pupils, safeguarding, health and safety as well as to consider plans for the development and improvement of the school. 

For Senior Staff

Proprietors have to have oversight of all key areas of OMS. It is important that Judith and Daniel are involved in key decision and policy making and are informed of any important issues, decisions or complaints and any discretion of policy by the key roles of both Principal head teacher and Administrator.
