At Oxford Montessori School, safeguarding is our top priority.
We are committed to ensuring every child feels safe, valued and listened to. All staff understand their responsibilities and act immediately on any concerns. We follow Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and Oxfordshire’s local safeguarding procedures.
Our Designated Safeguarding Leads oversee all safeguarding matters, ensuring concerns are recorded accurately and shared with the appropriate agencies when needed. We take a zero-tolerance approach to bullying, harassment, abuse and discrimination, and children are taught how to stay safe both in school and online.
Safeguarding applies across all our sites and activities, and we work closely with families and external professionals so every child can thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
